Raimondi, Marcantonio
( 1480, cerca de Bolonia– 1534, Bolonia).

Grabador italiano. Se formó en Bolonia con Francesco Francia. Sin embargo, sus líneas enérgicas y el uso del achurado para modelar fueron influencia de Alberto Durero. Luego de trasladarse a Roma 1510, se especializó en la reproducción de obras de otros artistas, particularmente las de Rafael. Retuvo las figuras idealizadas de este, pero les sumó sus propios fondos y paisajes. Sus grabados se vendieron profusamente, lo que contribuyó en gran medida a la difusión del estilo del Alto Renacimiento por toda Europa.
